You and your family are most comfortable when the camera is not pointed in your direction, let alone with a stranger behind that lens. So understandably, I won't have my camera out right away when you arrive. We will start with you and your family telling me a little bit about yourselves. We'll just hang out together and talk about what type of pictures you had in mind, what desired end result are we going to try to achieve. We'll begin slowly as everyone is feeling more comfortable and ready to roll!

Once everyone is on board and we are well in to our shoot we will take a mixture of candid pictures and slightly posed shots until a good mixture of pictures are captured of your family. My goal is fun, fun and more fun! :) I want our session to be relaxed and enjoyable. I won't be rushing anyone and there won't be a specific time limit like at a portrait studio. We will just be hanging out enjoying our time together and making memories.

| Who's the littlest of them all? :) |
ince I am a natural light, on-location photographer I come to you. This could be at your house, the park, downtown, on the rims or at the family cabin, really there are unlimited possibilities! However, photography means to paint with light which means we have to have light to work. The best time to do this is either in the early morning between 8 and 9 am or late afternoon/evening between 5 and 6 pm and on into the evening. Sunset always offers a nice warm glow. In the fall, evening sessions will be held earlier.
